North American Alpaca Show April 3 - 6
This show has become the highlight of Spring in the Northeast! Alpacas from throughout New England and the
eastern seaboard converge on the Eatern States'' Exposition in West Springfield, MA. for a weekend of fun and
conviviality. Need to chase away the last of the winter blues? Come and wander among more than 1000 alpacas
representing hundreds of farms, and be sure to look for our farm display and watch as we show off last year''s cria

North East Alpaca Expo May 2 - 3
Promising to be the most exciting new show of 2009, this AOBA-certified show will provide New York with a Spring
alpaca event to complement the now-famous Empire Alpaca Extravanganza, which occurs each October. Also held at
the NYS Fairgrounds in Syracuse, this will be the ideal opportunity for the aspiring alpaca enthhusiast to visit with many
farms at the same time. In addition to the many show rings, a full line-up of seminars will be offered for all levels of

The Staghorn 10th Anniversary Appreciation Sale
This will be the premier oportunity to acquire the cream of the Staghorn
crop as we present our outstanding selection of juvenile, yearling, and
adult male and female alpacas for sale at values never before seen in this
region. Starter packages, many including pregnant females with cria at
side will be available, offering substantial discounts off our already low
prices. All adult females offered with confirmed pregnancy; re-breedings,
flexible financing, delivery, and free board also available. Farm will be
open for visitors every weekend from Memorial Day to the end of June.

NYS Sheep and Wool Festival October 17 & 18
Always one of our favorite events, the Sheep and Wool Festival is held each year at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds
in Rhinebeck, NY. This is an exciting two-day fair devoted exclusively to the fiber arts. This year promises to be
extra-special as 2009 has been proclaimed by the UN as the "International Year of Natural Fibre". Every year more
than 25,000 visitors get to attend workshops, sheep and goat shows, alpaca and llama exhibits, and stroll through all of
the vendor displays offering everything from clothing to yarn to fleece and spinning wheels. For more information

Empire Alpaca Extravaganza October 25 - 27
The premier alpaca event of the fall is held each year right here in New York, at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.
This show brings together more than 1000 alpaca from all over the eastern U.S. We will be attending, with our 2007
cria, along with several of our yearlings as well. Be sure to stop at our farm display and say hello!

Opens Fri. Nov. 28th! Alpaca Things Considered, our farm store, will be open weekends for your holiday shopping.
Every weekend thru Christmas our exquisite pure alpaca fashions as well as our own yarn and fleece will be
available in our shop located right here at Staghorn Valley!
